A bit about me...

I'm Matt, a UK based digital communications facilitator from Sussex. I say digital communications facilitator not purely for effect but because I find it very hard to categorise exactly what it is I do. "Web designer" seems too narrow a definition, as does developer. Instead, my overall goal is to communicate with a user using the digital medium, be that through a flash web banner, interface design or back end development.

I've been involved with the web now for nearly 10 years, having contracted the "bug" back when Macromedia Flash 4 was the tool to use. Since then I've moved onto both front-end and back-end design and development roles, and transition quite happily between the two.

I still like to take on freelance projects as and when I can because it allows me to engage directly with the client and use more of my project management skills; skills I am keen to enhance. If you would like to work with me on a freelance basis then please get in touch.

In my spare time I like to take pictures of myself looking ridiculously serious and post them on the web.
